Between 2006-2017 Achim Lengerer and Dani Gal worked collaboratively and dealt with performative aspects of political speech, sound documents and archived spoken language. They made numerous exhibitions and performance- events, sometimes in close collaboration with other visual artists, and musicians. The project was initated as a research project of the Jan-van-Eyck-Academie, Maastricht, Netherlands and has since then been realized in the format of exhibitions, screenings and performances at INSA ART SPACE, Seoul, Korea; SMART Project Space, Amsterdam, Netherlands; PORTIKUS, Frankfurt, Germany; VILLA ROMANA, Florence, Italy; Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe, Germany; DEUTSCHE GUGGENHEIM, Berlin; Herzliya Biennale, Israel; Frankfurter Kunstverein/Hessischer Rundfunk, Frankfurt, DE, and FORUM EXPANDED, BERLINALE, Berlin.

The project made use and critically researched with and in - amongst others - Gal's Historical Record Archive, the non-digitised sound archives of the Deutschlandfunk, the Hessischer Rundfunk/Frankfurt and William Furlong's Audio Arts. copy.jpg mit Stuhl Studio.jpg performance.jpg
